Walkley Ward includes Upperthorpe, Netherthorpe, Edward St, Philadelphia, Langsett, Walkley, the Bolehills, Walkley Bank, Limbrick and Rudyard Road.
What sort of projects can be funded?
Your group must be based in Walkley Ward. Your project must help towards one or more of the following:
- Things for young people to do
- The Environment
- Community Support and people getting on together
- Community Safety
- Older People and Health
How much?
Walkley Ward has been allocated £8,489 up to March 2013. Groups can apply for grants of between £250 and £2500, which have to be matched by the group’s own resources.
When?
The next round of funding is now available, with a closing date of 5pm on Friday, 2nd November.
